I was hoping for funny and embarrassing. Instead, I got one of the most amazing videos I have ever seen.

I was told that it was a video of a marriage proposal in a McDonald's drive thru that apparently went bad.

I clicked on the link, thinking I'd be watching two or three minutes of cringe-worthy humor.

Instead, I found myself watching one of the most captivating and heart wrenching five minutes of video that I have ever seen. It is honestly more compelling than many movies and television shows that I have watched.

And if you're a writer, it's also a master class in dialogue. The power of silence and sound and stutter.
